These terms are an agreement between you and You+ LLC (“we” or “us”), which runs You+Love. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines, and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use You+Love.

Who can use You+Love

  • You’re at least 18 years old.
  • You live in the United States, where You+Love is offered.
  • You have one account, and it’s yours alone.
  • You haven’t been convicted of a violent or sexual crime, and you’re not required to register as a sex offender.
  • We haven’t removed you from You+Love before.

Everyone is asked for a selfie and a photo of a government ID when they sign up. We can decline or remove an account when we can’t confirm someone is who they say they are.

Your account

Keep your details accurate, and keep your sign-in codes to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else got into it, tell us right away at support@youplus.company.

By giving us your phone number, you agree to get texts with sign-in codes and event reminders. Message and data rates may apply.

Events and calls

  • At an event, the app schedules short calls with your mutual matches who confirmed they’re coming. We can’t promise a number of matches or calls.
  • Each call starts on voice, and video opens for the last part. Either of you can choose to stay on voice for the whole call.
  • Matching for an event closes at a set time before it starts, and your schedule is set before the event. Times and steps can change, and the app shows the latest.
  • After an event, next steps like a longer call or a date happen only when you both want them.

Membership and prices

  • Booking an event starts a monthly membership. There’s no fee for the membership itself, and it includes full use of the app while it’s active.
  • Within each membership month, your first event costs $29, events 2 to 5 cost $10 each, and event 6 and beyond are free. If an event’s own price is lower, you pay that instead.
  • Every event shows its price before you register. Prices are in US dollars, and we may change them for future events.
  • Some events ask for a card on file and show a no-show fee before you register. If you register for one and don’t attend, we may charge that fee to your card after the event.

Auto-renew

Auto-renew is off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, the events you book for your next membership month are charged to your card when your membership renews. If nothing is booked, your membership ends and nothing is charged. You can turn auto-renew on or off in the app at any time.

If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, we’ll let you know, and you can pay it with another card in the app. If it stays unpaid after a short grace period, the events booked for that month are released.

Canceling, credits, and refunds

  • You can cancel an event registration in the app any time before the event starts.
  • If you paid and cancel before your schedule is set (overnight before the event), what you paid comes back as credit for future events. After that, canceling doesn’t return credit.
  • Credits don’t expire, are used before your card at checkout, and can’t be exchanged for cash. They end if your account is deleted.
  • We give credit instead of card refunds, except where the law requires a refund or these terms promise one, such as Refer & Save.
  • If we cancel an event, we’ll tell you what happens to what you paid for it. To be confirmed
  • If you delete your account, your membership and auto-renew stop right away, and the rest of the month isn’t refunded.

Refer & Save

Friends who register for an event with your link get 20% off it. You earn a $5 credit for each friend who qualifies, up to what you paid. If 10 friends sign up for your event with your link, we refund your ticket price.

Referring yourself, or using fake or duplicate accounts, doesn’t count, and we may take back rewards earned that way. We may change or end Refer & Save for future referrals.

How to treat other members

You+Love works when everyone feels respected. Our Community Guidelines explain what that means, and we have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. When you use the app, including calls and dates, don’t:

  • Harass, threaten, bully, or demean anyone, or use hate speech
  • Share nudity or sexual content, or pressure anyone into it
  • Share, or threaten to share, intimate images of anyone without their consent, including edited or AI-made ones
  • Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your age, identity, or relationship status
  • Ask anyone for money, promote a business, or run a scam
  • Record, screenshot, or share calls, photos, or messages without permission
  • Share someone’s private information
  • Use You+Love if you’re under 18, contact anyone under 18, or share anything that sexualizes a minor
  • Break the law, or help someone else do so

Your profile photos must be recent and clear pictures of you, with no nudity or explicit content.

Reports and safety

If someone breaks these rules, report them: tap the flag by their name on a profile or during a call, hold a photo, prompt answer, or message, or open your match and tap ••• at the top right. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours, and urgent ones first. If you’re in danger, call 911 first.

After each call, you answer a Safety & Respect check. If you say something made you feel unsafe, the match ends, the calls and dates you planned with them are canceled, and our team takes a look.

Photos and messages are also checked automatically, and content that breaks these rules can be refused or held back. When we review a concern, we may look at reports, messages, and answers after calls. We can remove a photo, prompt answer, or message, and we can warn, limit, suspend, or remove accounts. A serious report can hide a member from new people while we look into it.

You’re responsible for how you interact with other members, online and in person. We don’t run criminal background checks, and verification can’t guarantee that someone is who they say they are. Our Safety page has tips for meeting safely.

Your content

You own the photos, prompts, and messages you share. You give us permission to store, show, and process them to run You+Love, for as long as they’re in the app. Share only content you have the right to share. We can remove content that breaks these terms.

Our app

You may use the app for your own personal dating, not for business. Don’t copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt it, or use bots or automated tools with it. You+Love and Connection-Layered Call are our trademarks.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. Our Delete your account page explains how. We can suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, if it’s needed to keep members safe, or if the law requires it. A suspension lasts until the date we show you. Paid events during a suspension are canceled without a refund or credit, and later events stay booked. If we remove your account, your membership and upcoming events are canceled without a refund, your credits end, and you can’t sign up again.

Disclaimers and limits

We work hard to keep You+Love running well, but we provide it “as is.” We can’t promise you’ll find a match, that every call will connect, or that the app will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for how members behave, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. To be confirmed

Disagreements

If something goes wrong, email support@youplus.company first, and we’ll try to fix it. Which state’s laws apply, and how disputes are resolved, will be set out here before launch. To be confirmed

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using You+Love after that means you accept the new terms.
